The Jatirarangon TAC is located in Cikarang, West Java, approximately 48 kilometres from the Indonesian capital of Jakarta. Already a producing asset, the Jatirarangon block produces approximately 80 bopd of oil and 2.8 mmscfd of natural gas per day. Ramba Energy plans to double gas production from the Jatirarangon block by the end of 2011. In 2012, the company will commence drilling of the block’s Eastern closure, an unexplored but promising structure. As of October 2014, gas from the Jatirarangon Block was sold to state-owned Indonesian distributor PGN. However, Ramba Energy reported production declines from the licence in 2016. The licence is valid until 2020, and has potential upside prospective resources of 3.2 million boe (risked).
