The Manora field is located in the concession area G1/48, Gulf of Thailand. The field was discovered by the Manora-1 exploration well in November 2009 and is located in water depths of around 45 metres and 75 km from the shore, reserves at the field are estimated to be 24 million barrels of oil. There is a development option being considered for the field is for a wellhead platform with a FPSO vessel. The field is expected on stream by the end of October 2014. Venture operator Mubadala holds 60% interest. Its partners include Tap Oil 30% and Northern Gulf Petroleum Pte. Ltd. 10%.
