The Shell Eastern Petrochemicals Complex will be an integrated refinery and petrochemicals project which will include modifications and additions to the 458,000 b/cd-Pulau Bukom refinery and a new 750,000-tonne/year monoethylene glycol (MEG) plant on Jurong Island. The 800,000 tonne/year cracker on Bukom Island will supply the MEG plant.

CB&I Lummus: FEED and EPCM for the cracker plant and process and ethylene contract

Chiyoda Corp.: EPCM for catalytic cracker unit 

Foster Wheeler: EPC for EO/MEG plant and refinery modification. EOC for existing Ethylene plant revamp and refinery modification

Merichem Company: THIOLEX and REGEN technologies

Mitsubishi Corporation: Basic engineering for MEG with Foster Wheeler

Rotary Engineering Ltd.: EPC for control discharge facilities and piping works, electrical works of the ethylene cracker complex, civil engineering works at MEG plant and atmospheric tanks

Yokogawa: Control systems

Joint Venture for transportation, installation and dredging contract:
Leighton Offshore
Boskalis Offshore

Permasense: Contract to deliver permanently installed corrosion and erosion sensor
