The project will see the proposed construction of gas pipeline from Bhatinda to Srinagar. The trunk pipeline will originate at Bhatinda and will traverse the cities of Moga, Kapurthala, Gurdaspur, Pathankot and Kathua for a distance of 300km. 440km of spurlines will be laid to link up the cities of Firozpur, Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Amritsar, Batala, Jammu and Srinagar. The pipeline will have a capacity of at least 15 million square cubic metres per day.

Hindustan Petroleum Corp. Ltd. (HPCL): 11% interest
Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOC): 26% interest
Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL): 11% interest
