The Sebuku PSC covers 5,920 sq km, with water depths in the area average 55 msw.
The packages are:
- EPC and a TNI (transportation and installation) for the wellhead and process platforms
- Installation of export pipeline and associated flowine
- Procurement of line pipes and turbo compressors for the process platform.
The EPC contract pertains to one wellhead platform with a deck of around 800 tonnes and jacket of 1,200 tonnes, and one process platform with living quarters, with a deck weighing 2,000 tonnes and jacket of between 1,000 and 1,200 tonnes, and a bridge.
The scope of work also includes the provision of hook-up operation as well as assistance in commissioning and start-up of the facilities. The TNI package will cover the installation and transportation of the two platforms and the associated bridge.
The pipeline installation scope covers the installation of a 14-in export trunkline and inter-platform flowline totalling 305km in length, tie-in spools and testing. The compressor procurement package covers two turbo compressors. The line pipe procurement contract will cover the provision of HF-ERW bare pipe of 14-in and 305km in total length.
The development of the Ruby gas field was sanctioned in June 2011. Mubadala Petroleum, through its Indonesian affiliate, holds a 70% working interest and is the operator of the Sebuku PSC. Total E&P Sebuku and Inpex South Makassar, Ltd. equally hold the remaining 30%. Approximately 250 billion cubic feet (Bcf) of gas will be produced for sale to the domestic market over the life of the field.
