The onshore Block Bengara I covers an area of 2,311 square kilometers. The block is found in the eastern part of Kalimantan Island, Indonesia. The primary geological study for the Block indicates crude oil potential. The operator estimates prospective resources of 29 million barrels of oil and 14 billion cubic feet of gas for the Sebuku prospect. There will be further potential of a further six leads and prospects on the Bengara 1 block.
