The Kita Marine field lies in a water depth of 10 metres and is approximately 10 kilometres northeast of the North Oron / Oron West producing facility. OML123 is Addax Petroleum\'s largest license area. OML 123 covers an area of 90,700 acres (367km2) in water depths ranging from 3 to 40m on the eastern edge of the Niger Delta. Kita Marine will be tapped via two simple wellhead platforms that can be installed via a jack-up rig. The development plan includes 14 wells.
