Project Profile
Value: US$1,600 million
Location: Off the East coast of Bioko Island, Equatorial Guinea
Production: 32,000 bpd of condensate
Start-up Year: 2Q 2013
The initial field development will include three production wells and three subsea natural gas injection wells tied to a processing platform. The Alen processing facility will be located in 240 feet of water and handle 440Mmcf/d of natural gas and 40,000 bbl/d of condensate. The condensate will be separated and piped to Aseng FPSO on Block I then associated natural gas will be reinjected to maintain pressure. The Alen project, formerly Belinda, is located in Block O, offshore Equatorial Guinea. The compressor upgrades at the Alen field on May 2015 increased output to 32,000 bpd of condensate, from an average of 28,000 bpd during the first quarter of 2015.
