Muda, Jengka, Tapi and Amarit Fields are located offshore in the Gulf of Thailand approximately 150 km northeast to Kota Bharu, 250 km east of Songkhla province and 350 km north of Kemaman Supply base (KSB) in contract area of Block B-17&C-19 in the Joint Development Area.
Muda, Jengka, Tapi and Amarit field development project consists of ten (10) wellhead platforms (MDA, MDB, MDC, MDD, MDE, MDF, JKA, JKB, TPA and AMA), Muda Central Processing Platform (MDPP), Living Quarter Platform (MDLQ), Flare Tripod and Floating Storage Offloading (Ratu Sonkhla FSO). Processed gas with DCQ of 335 mmscfd (9.49 mcm per day) will be delivered for a period of 10 years and 250 mmscfd (7.08 mcm per day) for remaining 6 years, which will end on 1st January 2026.
The Muda, Jengka, Tapi and Amarit fields produced roughly 700 bcf (19.8 bcm) of sales gas plus 17 million barrels of condensate in 2010-15.
Under the Supplementary Contract No. 2 to the Production Sharing Contract (PSC), PTTEPI and PETRonAS Carigali (JDA) will accelerate exploration activity in the marginal fields in the PSC in order to supply petroleum to both Thailand and Malaysia. (September, 2016)
