Project Profile
Value: US$465 million
Start-up Year: 2012
Location: D-1 Field
Estimated Peak Production: 60,000 bpd
The project will see the modification of the existing D-1 platform and installation of new unmanned platforms, D-1B (6 slots), D-1C (6 slots) and D-1D platform (12 slots), at the D-1 field.
For well stream processing, the operator plans to hire an FPSO that will be able to handle up to 60,000 barrels per day of liquids, 50,000 bpd of oil and have a storage capacity of 250,000 barrels of crude. A four-inch water injection line from the FPSO to the D1-B platform through a water injection manifold is also proposed, with the injection system having capacity of 15,000 bpd of water.
The peak oil production is expected to reach approximately 36,000 barrels of oil a day during 2012-13.
