The project is Kogas\'s fifth LNG terminal. It will be located in Jeju city. The other 4 terminals are Incheon, Pyeongtaek, Tongyeong and Samcheok. The 240MW LNG power plant will supply about 20% of the total power demand in the Jeju region, which is projected to be included among the LNG supply regions in the government\'s eighth Long-Term Natural Gas Supply & Demand Plan (2006-2019).

The Jeju LNG combined cycle power plant (CCPP) is expected to minimize GHG emissions as it is planned not to emit pollutants such as ultrafine dust.

• Storage : 2 tanks x 25,000m3
• 2 BOG compressors x 4,000m3/h
• Vaporization : 40 ton/h
-Air vaporizers
-Steam vaporizers (back-up)
• LNG tanker lorry station for Seogwipo area

Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS): Operator with 100% interest

Contractors:

GE Energy Products France: the supply of main equipment including gas turbine, steam turbine and heat recovery steam generator, for the LNG power plant and provide technical support. (June, 2016)
