The Bontang PSC was awarded to PT Eksindo Petroleum Bontang in December 2003. The PSC covers an area of over 2,180 sq km both onshore and offshore in the Kutei Basin, East Kalimantan. The Recoverable reserves at Tutung discovery have been estimated at up to 100 billion cubic feet of gas.
