The Jubilee field is one of West Africa\'s biggest oil finds in recent years. The oil and gas field is estimated to contain recoverable reserves in the amount of 1.2 Bboe. Located on two licenses, Deepwater Tano and West Cape Three Points, Jubilee is situated in a water depth of 3,609 feet (1,100 meters) and is operated by Tullow. Average production in 2016 is around 73,700 bopd . The Greater Jubilee Full Field Development Plan (GJFFD), which includes the Mahogany and Teak fields, was submitted to the Government of Ghana in December 2015 and approved in the first half of 2016.
The Jubilee Field development is designed in a phased approach. First production came in late 2010, only three and a half years from the initial discovery.
