The Sukhpur block lies in the vicinity of the Eni-operated producing areas of Bhit and Badhra and will bring significant operating synergies. It is located in Block 2568-20. During test runs, gas flowed at 33 million cubic feet per day, highlighting excellent potential to help ease the shortage of energy in the country. The discovery will be assessed and commercialised through an early production scheme, making gas supply possible within three years.
