GH_WB_06 lies in water deep water, 2200 to 4300 meters and about 93 kilometres offshore Ghana. The area is partially covered by 2D seismic but has no 3D seismic. There are no industry wells, but several ODP sites are found in the area.  Block GH_WB_06 will be licensed through direct negotiations in accordance with Section 10(9) of Act 919.
