GH_WB_03 lies within water depths of 800 to 2800 meters. Extensive 3D seismic data has been acquired over the area and a number of prospects generated. This led to successful drilling campaign by Lukoil and the Lynx discovery, which established a working petroleum system in the area.  GH_WB_03 extends over the southern portion of the Romanche sub-basin within the Tano-Ivorian Basin of Ghana. Between the continental shelf break and the topographically high marginal ridge associated with the Romanche Fracture Zone.  Block GH_WB_03 will be licensed through open, transparent and competitive tender process in accordance with Section 10(3) of Act 919.
