Available data: 2D seismic, 3D seismic,  well reports and cuttings

partially covered by 2D seismic data of different vintages, and some 3D data. The Sankofa-Gye-Nyame field is about close to this block, while a working petroleum system has been proven with the discovery of Dzata and Cheetah in the immediate vicinity.  Studies carried out by Vanco over the area revealed the presence of thrust imbricates within an allochthonous nappe system. They interpreted these as compressional elements related to Late Cretaceous transpression along the Romanche  Fracture Zone.  Block GH_WB_02 will be licensed through open, transparent  and competitive tender process in accordance with Section 10(3)  of Act 919.
