Background
Al Yasat Petroleum Operations LTD is developing the Belbazem offshore gas field, which is located approximately 50 km from Zirku Island and 120 km northwest of Abu Dhabi, UAE. The field consists of three oil-bearing structures, namely Belbazem, Umm Al Salsal and Umm Al Dholou. Upon completion, the Belbazem block will produce approximately 45,000 barrels per day (bpd) of oil and 765,000 cubic metres per day of gas, while maintaining reservoir pressure support with water injection.
Al Yasat Petroleum Operations LTD is a 60:40 subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC).
