The Barsukovskoye (Барсуковское) field neighbours the Komsomolskoye and Gubkinskoye deposits. All three are operated by Rosneft-Purneftegaz. Barsukovskoye has a high water-cut, producing three tonnes of water for every tonne of crude oil. Its Lower Cretaceuous reservoirs are complex, with most of its remaining reserves designated as hard to recover.
Barsukovskoye produced 99,482 tonnes (8,200 bpd) of crude oil and 6,936 tonnes (700 bpd) of condensate in the first quarter of 2018. Its proven reserves at the end of March 2018 were estimated at 14.3 million tonnes (105 million barrels) of oil, 28.5 bcm of natural gas and 3.87 million tonnes (34.8 million barrels) of condensate.
