Annova LNG Brownsville Terminal is a proposed LNG terminal in Texas, United States. The project would add a liquefied natural gas terminal to the Port of Brownsville. In 2015, the project went through FEED. Annova LNG filed for a construction permit at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) in July 2016. The company has previously said it intended to reach a final investment decision (FID) by the second quarter of 2018.
The project, which will cost around US$3 billion, will have six trains, with nameplate capacity of 1 million tpy each, which would be built in three phases. It will also have two containment tanks, with 160,000 cubic metres of capacity each.
