Lukoil identified four oilfields off the coast of Kaliningrad in 2015 at blocks D41, D29, D6-South and D33. The D29 discovery was later written off as non-commercial. Lukoil aims to eventually produce 45,000 boepd of hydrocarbons from these projects and the Soviet-era Kravtsovskoye field. Their combined 3P+3C resources are estimated at 261 million boe.
Lukoil is carrying out a FEED study at D33 and hopes to take an FID on its development in 2019. First oil is anticipated in 2023. The field lies 65 km from the shore of Kaliningrad, near Russia’s maritime border with Lithuania.
