The Rakushechnoye field was discovered in 2001. It is located 160 km from the port of Astrakhan, 100 km from the west coast and 8.5 km from the V. Filanovsky field. The sea depth in the field area ranges from 5 to 8 meters.
The Rakushechnoye project envisages the construction of a fixed offshore ice-resistant production platform, a living quarters platform, a crossover bridge and subsea interfield pipelines and cable lines that provide link to the infrastructure of the nearby Filanovsky field, which came on stream in 2016.
