Oryx Midstream Services II is expanding an under construction crude oil pipeline system in the Permian Basin. The company is adding an additional 289.7 km to its under construction regional crude oil regional pipeline system. Oryx Midstream Services initially announced the construction of the system in September 2017, which was originally to be 354.05 km of pipeline with 400,000 barrels of capacity. When complete the total system will include 643.7 km of pipeline capacity, 650,000 barrels of pipeline capacity and 1.5 million barrels of crude oil storage. The pipeline will serve West Texas' Permian Basin in New Mexico and Texas, sending crude oil from the field to large pipelines that will send the oil further east. The pipeline and storage system is expected to be fully online by the second quarter of 2019.
