The Port Allen facility is located along the Mississippi River in Port Allen utilizing high and low-pressure pipelines producing a gallon of LNG at efficiencies competitive with small/medium-scale facilities. NuBlu Energy began construction of its US$11 million natural gas liquefaction plant on 10 March 2017. The 30,000 gallons per day facility features modular technology and the current plant design allows for expansion up to 90,000 gallons per day when the LNG needs in the region rise. The plant is equipped with scales, loadout and 100,000 gallons of permanent storage. The facility also includes a truck load-out facility for loading and delivery of the company's product to its customers.
