Ibot wellhead platform project

Brief Introduction
The Ibot wellhead platform project is part of ExxonMobil's "Sattlellite fields development phase 2"plan,which consists of Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation of four new wellhead platforms, namely; Ufan, Ibot, Ifure and Idoho-N and associated pipelines to host production platforms.
On january 2018,Exxon mobile lunched the bid of  Ibot wellhead platform,The platform is expected to weigh about 2000 tonnes with the winning bidder set to be responsible for engineering, procurement, construction, transport and installation plus hook-up and commissioning.Given its size, the entire structure will be built in Nigeria and bidders are expected to use a Nigerian-registered vessel to carry out offshore operations.
The bidding lineup is unclear but project watchers expect major players with proven local capacities and experience to be among the front runners to land a rare Nigerian contract.ExxonMobil is evaluating initial bids documents from contractors battling to land an offshore fabrication order in Nigeria related to the project.
