The Labaganskoye (Лабаганское) oilfield was identified in 1978. It contained 4.2 million tonnes (30.8 million barrels) in proven reserves at the end of March 2018. Rosneft began commercial production at the field in 2015. The field’s oil is pumped via a 106-mm pipeline from an onsite oil treatment unit to a booster pump station at the Nyadeyuskoye field. As of 2015, four well pads had been installed. The field is slated to reach a peak output of 1.4 million tpy (28,000 bpd) in the 2020s.
Rosneft’s Severnaya Neft subsidiary manages the Labaganskoye field under a licence valid until November 2034. Severnaya Neft was acquired by Rosneft in 2003. It operates 17 fields in the Timan-Pechora oil basin.
