Located at the Bowstring East Prospect (better known as Cladhan) on Block 210/29a in the UK North Sea.
Discovery well 210/29a-4 encountered an oil column in excess of 110ft (34m) with no observed oil-water contact, in an Upper Jurassic sequence below 9,450ft (MDRT) containing 25ft (8m) of sandstones with log porosity exceeding 20% and showing high oil saturations. The discovery is 16km south west of Tern and tied back to Tern infrastructure. The Petrojarl 1 FPSO on the Hudson field is 16km away. The South Cormorant platforms lie 18.5 km from the Cladhan and the Heather platform is 28km to the south.
