Saudi Kayan has a capital of 15 Billion Saudi Riyals and it is an affiliate of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC). Taiwan’s CTCI was to build an additional cracking furnace that will effectively boost the company’s ethylene production capacity . Tecnicas Reunidas (TR) has been selected by Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Company for the Phenol plant. The contract is 1.184 million USD, and include units for the production of 290,000 t/y of Cumene, 220,000 t/y of Phenol and 240,000 t/y bisphenol-A.
