Partners in licenses PL 554 & PL 554B consist of Total (operator, 40%), Bridge Energy (20%). norske (20%) and Svenska (20%). Martin Linge is an oil and gas field near the border to the UK sector in the North Sea, 42 kilometres west of the Oseberg field. The water depth in the area is about 115 metres. The development concept is a fully integrated fixed production platform with a steel jacket, and a floating, storage and offloading unit (FSO) for oil storage. A mobile jack up rig is utilised for the drilling of production wells. The installation will be supplied with power from shore. New wells drilled in the following years confirmed that this was a complex, high-pressure area, consisting of an oil reservoir at 2000 metres depth and a sizeable gas reservoir at 4000 metres depth. The main reservoir is structurally complex, and contains gas and condensate at high pressure and high temperature (HPHT). Three reservoirs are in sandstone of Middle Jurassic age in the Brent Group, at a depth of 3,700-4,400 metres. Oil also occurs in the Frigg Formation of Eocene age. The reservoir is at a depth of approximately 1,750 metres and has good quality. Martin Linge油田发现在底下3700至4400的三处全新储层。该处储层形成复杂,初步探究发现均是高温高压下的行程的高浓度油气。三个储层均为侏罗纪的砂岩.
