Hasbah offshore Gas Field - Under Wasit Development

Hasbah Gas Field is part of the Wasit Gas Program. This development program has 8 Wellhead platforms at Hasbah offshore field with associated gas pipelines and facilities and will supply additional 2.5 billionstandard cubic feet per day together with Arabiyah field L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering (LTHE), a fully owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro (L&T), in consortium with EMAS Chiyoda Subsea (ECS) a 50:50 joint venture company owned by Ezra Holdings Limited and Chiyoda Corporation has bagged a large EPCI contract worth over $ 1.6 billion from Saudi Aramco. The consortium will be carrying out the complete EPCI work of the offshore plant which includes two streams of three wellhead platform topsides, one tie-in platform with flare platforms and bridges tied together by 20 km umbilical and 25 km of in-field pipelines. Other works include interconnections of two 36” trunk lines to transport produced gas from offshore to Fadhili Gas Plant complete with 110 km of fibre optic and power cables for power and communication network with the onshore facilities. Other onshore facilities like beach valve station, sectionalizing valve station, four scraper traps and laying of 35 km of fibre optic cable will also be executed as part of the contract. Jacobs Receives Contract to develop a basic engineering package for four sulfur recovery units for Hasbah Offshore Gas Field, each with an expected production capacity of 1,200 tpd. SNC-Lavalin has been awarded a front-end engineering (FEED) and project management services contract by Saudi Aramco for the Wasit Gas Development Program. Tenaris and PCC Energy Group, a business of Precision Castparts Corp., have been awarded a contract to supply 9-5/8" Range-3 Corrosion Resistant Alloy (CRA) tubing for Saudi Aramco's Arabiyah & Hasbah offshore gas development project. L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering (LTHE), a fully owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro (L&T), in consortium with EMAS Chiyoda Subsea (ECS) - a 50:50 joint venture company owned by Ezra Holdings Limited and Chiyoda Corporation - has bagged a large EPCI contract for the development of the second phase of Hasbah Offshore Gas field worth over $ 1.6 billion from Saudi Aramco. WorleyParsons has won an offshore contract in Saudi Arabia to provide project management services and engineering services for existing and new offshore facilitiesfor Saudi Aramco’s offshore programme. Saudi Aramco awarded the EPIC contract, in the framework of the Al Wasit Gas Program to Saipem to EPCI a total of 19 jackets, Hasbah’s 8 jackets are among them.
