Drilling is scheduled to begin in the last quarter of 2017 and last for around 12 months. At the same time the owners have invested in re-development - and the fields are prepared for the next 40 years. For each platform well, 20" casing strings are drilled and driven to approximately 1500 vertical feet deep. The reservoir is Cretacious (chalk) with a 300 meter high oil column.
