The development stages:Tendering/2013-09.The project consists of building an 11km natural gas pipeline between the cities of Itaboraí and Guapimirim, in Rio de Janeiro state, to supply Petrobras' Comperj refinery with natural gas from pre-salt fields. Construction works should take 13 months once the concession contract is signed. In early 2015 Brazil's hydrocarbons regulator ANP called for a bidding process for the concession, but the process was postponed when the TCU audit court found that the estimated baseline budget for the project was too high.
