The development stages:In production - under development/2010-01.The Lula field is a massive pre-salt deepwater project off Brazil's southeast coast in the Santos basin. The field is located in the BM-S-11 block, operated by Petrobras (65%) with the balance held by BG (25%) and Galp (10%). Lula has estimated recoverable oil and gas reserves of 8.3Bboe. It began production in 2010 with the FPSO unit Cidade de Angra dos Reis, four-and-a-half years after its discovery in 2006. The Cidade de Paraty platform in Lula Nordeste is the second of 10 production units earmarked for the field.
