The development stages:Exploration drilling/2016-06.Block Coirón, covering an area of 3,864 square kilometers, is owned by Pan American Energy through its subsidiary Pan American Energy Chile. The company picked up the block in 2007 and signed a special operating agreement for the block with Chile's mining ministry in 2008. It is currently carrying out a drilling program at the El Fierro deposit in the block.
