The block covers 7 square kilometers and holds 8Mb of original oil in place and 9Bf3 of original gas in place. Accumulated production from the area amounts to 2Mb of oil and 2Bf3 of gas. The block's reservoirs are found in Cretaceous limestones. The block was put out to tender as part of CNH's third phase of Round One and was awarded to Tonalli Energía S.A.P.I. de C.V. The block is part of 21 Type 1 blocks, which are expected to contain less than 100Mb remaining in their reservoirs.
