The block covers 24 square kilometers and holds 61Bf3 of original gas in place. Accumulated production from the area amounts to 17Bf3 of gas. The block's reservoirs are found in Tertiary sands. The block was put out to tender as part of CNH's third phase of Round 1 and was awarded to a consortium led by Steel Serv S.A. de C.V. The block is part of 21 Type-1 blocks, which are expected to contain less than 100Mb remaining in their reservoirs.
