The development stages:Under Construction/2016-03,In operation/2016-12.The investment is US$140mn.The project calls for the construction of a regasification terminal in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia to supply local power plants. The project is comprised of two phases. The first phase (offshore) will include the construction of the maritime facilities, including a port, pier, connecting pipelines and a FRSU with 170,000m3 of storage and 400Mf3/d of regasification capacity, respectively. The second phase (onshore) includes the construction of regasification, storage and liquefaction facilities. Sociedad Portuaria El Cayao SPEC S.A. ESP (SPEC), a subsidiary of Promigas, was chosen to carry out the development of the regasification terminal that will allow the country to import liquefied natural gas via the Atlantic coast city of Cartagena.
