The initiative involves inspection of storage tanks, pressure vessels and boilers, and cryogenic areas to ensure their compliance with international safety standards. To further aid achievement of the main goal, to eliminate worker risk and inadvertent damage to facilities, Pemex is employing a strategy of enhanced scrutiny of plant operations, namely those practices taking place at the cryogenic and gas processing complexes.
