The development stages:Awaiting construction decision/2012-12,Under Construction/2013-12.The investment is US$70mn.The project is part of Pemex's efforts to develop new and upgrade existing facilities at the Ciudad Pemex compound. A critical aspect of this improvement is the infrastructure integrity of the gas processing center (GPC). The project involves the conversion of an existing building into one suitable for a C2+ producing cryogenic plant. To reduce the compound's fuel consumption, the construction of a steam generator is also planned. These redevelopments are expected to preserve the GPC's operational reliability and long-term efficiency.
