The development stages:Under Construction/2014-11.The investment is US$296mn.The project is part of Pemex's efforts to upgrade and develop complementary facilities for its refinery in Minatitlán. A critical component of which is a demolition project to make the site suitable for new infrastructure, principally to make way for replacement Naphta BTX and NP-1 reformers for the refinery's generator. Together, these new reformers will create a modular chlorine absorption system with a continuous catalyst regeneration rate of 3,000lb/hr.
