The development stages:Exploration drilling/2001-09.Located 267km off the coast of Rio de Janeiro on offshore block BM-S-24 at a ultra-deepwater depth of 2,251m, the Bracuhy discovery well confirmed a hydrocarbon column of approximately 160m. Operated by Petrobras, the field is located 26km northeast the Jupiter oil field. A formation test is now being planned for the well in 2014 to assess the area's productivity and characteristics.
