The development stages:Under Construction/2003-01,In operation/2018-12.The investment is US$176mn.The project is part of Pemex's efforts to upgrade and develop complementary facilities for its refinery in Minatitlán. A critical component of which is the addition of a high speed power train. The train and other updates to machinery are expected to decrease maintenance costs, increase production and improve quality, ultimately increasing efficiency and profitability. The project involves process improvements and an expansion of existing infrastructure.
