The development stages:In production - under development/2014-04.Block 88, part of the Camisea project, is located in Peru's Uyacali basin and includes the San Martino and Cashiriari fields. The block is operated by Argentine firm Pluspetrol in partnership with US company Hunt Oil (25.2%), South Korean company SK Energy (17.6%), Argentina's Tecpetrol (10%), Spain's Repsol (10%) and Algeria's Sonatrach (10%). The block was discovered in 1987 by Shell, which was the operator until 1998 when it withdrew from the project and returned it to the state. Later, in 2000, the block was awarded to Pluspetrol and its partners through a bidding process. It began to produce again in 2004. The block's 1P reserves amount to 8.2Tf3 while 2P reserves total 7.9Tf3. In 2014, the block is being expanded through a US$480mn works program which includes 2D and 3D seismic surveys, exploration and injection wells and a natural gas transportation line.
