The development stages:Licensing/1993-11,In production - under development/1993-11.Offshore block Z-2B, covering an area of 199,865ha, is operated by Peruvian firm Savia. The lot comprises five main production areas where some 1,400 wells have been drilled. Its main fields are Peña Negra, San Pedro, Lobitos, Litoral, Providencia, Los Órganos, and Chira. Colombia's state oil company Ecopetrol and South Korea's KNOC control Savia, created in 2009 to carry out exploration and production activities in Peru.
