REC-T-256 is a 13.7 square kilometers license area located in Bahia, and it is part of the four concession blocks owned and operated by Alvopetro (100%). It was acquired in the 12th ANP bidding round. The other blocks are REC-T-169, REC-T-198 and REC-T-255. Local content required by the Brazilian regulator is 80% during exploration and 85% during development. All four blocks have an initial five-year exploratory phase. First phase work commitment for REC-T-256 consists of the acquisition of 27km of 2D seismic.
