The development stages:Exploration drilling/2009-01.The CPO-9 block includes the producing Akacías field, which is operated by Colombia's state-owned company Ecopetrol (55%). The remaining interest belongs to Repsol, which acquired all of Talisman Energy's properties on May 2015. Exploration in the block started in 2010 with the Akacías well. According to the ANH, the block is currently under exploratory Phase I and II combined. The Taray prospect will be explored after Ecopetrol successfully obtained an exploratory drilling environmental permit to bring in up to 10 well pads and drill up to five wells per pad.
