The development stages:Tendering/2015-06,Under Construction/2016-04,In operation/2018-01.The investment is US$293mn.The project comprises the engineering, procurement, acquisition of real estate rights, permits and governmental approvals, funding, construction, operation and maintenance of a 355km, 36-inch pipeline with capacity to transport 1Bf3/d of gas. The Villa de Reyes–Aguascalientes–Guadalajara gas pipeline will supply natural gas to the CFE's power plants in the states of Aguascalientes and Jalisco, as well as the central and western parts of Mexico. The project will be connected to the Tula–Villa de Reyes and La Laguna–Aguascalientes gas pipelines, which have yet to be developed.
