The development stages:In production - under development/2017-03.The Margarita natural gas field has proven reserves of 3.0Bf3 of gas. The field, together with Huacaya, comprises the Caipipendi block operated by Repsol. Repsol YPF holds 37.5%, while BG and Pan American Energy control 37.5% and 25% respectively. The companies expect to increase production from 9Mm3/d to 15Mm3/d gas by 2014. After 18 years of exploratory works with a total of 1,300 square kilometers of seismic data produced and 5 wells drilled, the field began sustained production in 2004.
