Developed by Raven Pipeline, the OXL pipeline will carry light crude (32-38 API) from northern Casanare to the Oleducto Bicentenario (OBC). The project contemplates an initial 100km phase, which Raven Pipeline may follow up with a 40-55km second phase. The firm plans to follow OXL up with the OEO pipeline project running from the south of meta department to the Cusiana station on the ¿Ocensa pipeline in Casanare. OXL will be Colombia's first non-producer constructed pipeline and will aim to service Colombia's numerous oil juniors.
