The development stages:Exploration drilling/2015-07.Block Bandurria Norte covers 107 square kilometers and is close to YPF's prominent Loma Campana block in Neuquén's Vaca Muerta formation. The block was awarded to Wintershall Energía S.A. in July 2015. The first development phase for the Bandurria complex - Bandurria Norte, Centro, and Sur – is due to be carried out from 2015-18 and will include 40 new wells requiring an estimated US$794mn. After this, a mass development phase envisions 1,700 wells and transport facilities, which could attract overall investment of up to US$26.8bn.
